Mike Posis is a freelance artist born in the Philippines and bounced around Military bases when he was younger. Sesame Street taught him how to speak English and Hawaiians taught him how to speak Pidgin. He finally settled in California and went to school at the Academy of Art University. His digital works are primarily in black and white, and grayscale. Artists that he admire include Nicolai Fechin, Winsor McCay, Charles Bragg, and Paul Pope. He lives with his lovely wife, Grace.
